Never, and getting that chargeback right before the commission should be paid also smells like a scam. I would ask for detailed proof and I’m unsure how the hell can someone charge 20k back just like that. The casino should be onto this matter as well and I don’t think there’s nothing they can do. I’m saying this especially because CasinoLasVegas is a part of bWin.Party, if I’m not terribly mistaken and they are a publicly listed company, instead of some RTG powered illegal company.

It really seems like something sketchy is going on here. I’d expect them to pursue legal action against the person who made a chargeback too.

You should likely have a good chat with your manager about the whole situation, as ”yeah, there’s a $20k chargeback, sorry bro” wouldn’t cut it for me. I imagine they can’t comment on a private situation in public, but keep us updated in this thread.

Was it before the commission was paid, or was it after and now they are saying you are in the red? I would definitely talk to your AM and go with your gut feeling.. If they can not explain what happened, and why.. And really have no solution I would pull them and move on..

They won’t give you proof so seems like you have no choice but to accept it unfortunately, the only question is to whether to believe them/continue to work with them in the future

I once had a chargeback of over 200K, the good part I was paid commisions on that before the chargeback. It was at Grand Mondial and right after that chargeback, the company was sold to Rewards. So that hit was huge for the casino.

At that time I was told the player had gone thru 4 tiers of checks, the more the player deposits the more the casino tries to make sure these player will not chargeback, i do know the guy was an engineer at Apple at the time. I wonder if casinolasvegas does the same thing to make sure big depositors are less likely to chargeback, even though it still could happen.

Everytime I see large chargebacks, I make sure i get alot more info, how long has this player been at casino, there name, IP address( so I can ban access) etc. If they don’t supply this stuff then the program can FOAD.

Damn. We just had over 5k in chargebacks from one program we do well with. It sucks, but I know it happens…………just a question of whether you believe and trust the program that is telling you that it happened. Trust your instincts. There are definitely programs that cheat and scam affiliates, but there are also good programs that don’t and still will end up having chargebacks on your account. Trust your gut. Good luck.

I had a chargeback that size once. And once was all it took. I agree with the previous posters, trust your instincts and if you think you’re being scammed you are probably right.

Being on the operator side, I have seen chargebacks happen like that. You have a player who does all the right things, doesn’t bring up alarm bells, plays like a whale, acts like a whale, smells like a whale. And the player keeps it up for months on end – and then bam one month… you get months of chargebacks coming back. They don’t chargeback as they go – they one day decide, time to chargeback all my previous months of deposits.
