    Hi CAP,

When I post on CAP, there is something wrong with the post function, when typing out a post, the text icon lags and misses letters. I have to type extremely slow and keep re-hitting keys that the forum software misses.

    example: th catsaton hmt

^^^ above is a sample of my typing at normal speed, it misses spaces and letters. It should read: “the cat sat on the mat”.

    the cata on te ma
    th ct st ntemt
    thcat sat onhemat

    ^^^ really annoying.

    im using I.E

    Hi guys…

I have our Tech team looking into this, but it may be an Internet Explorer. Stay tuned.

Just for reference, everytime I visit CAP I get this popup: “Scanstyles does nothing in Webkit/Forefox/Opera”

    – No idea wht it means or what it relates to. But it started showing up aroun the same time, if my memory serves me correctly.

Me too and it seems to be an issue some websites have with IE11

    Hi all,

I can confirm that this is an IE / Vbulletin issue, so there’s really nothing we can do about it.

You can review the comments that users have posted in this resource link: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?108061-Erratic-missing-letter-problem-when-typing-post to try to fix the issue on your end.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The tip to add sites with this issue to the comptability list solved the problem for me :)

Hi! I use the latest version of Firefox 29 and this forum works excellent.
IE was always different kind of browser (especially the older versions) and have its own “rules”.
Like browser from Andromeda Galaxy

Circling back with you guys on the issue about the popup saying, “Scanstyles does nothing in Webkit/Forefox/Opera.”

We are unable to replicate this error on IE browsers. However, as a precaution we have followed this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21472628/why-ie-browser-show-scanstyles-does-nothing-in-webkit-fi… and commented the alert “Scanstyles does nothing in Webkit/Forefox/Opera” in curvycorners.js.

Let me know how else I can help…

Use Chrome or Firefox. IE went off the deep end… many sites are not compatible.

Otherwise… CAP – move away from vBulletin, lol… those guys are way behind the times! (That is what I had to do because they don’t support the latest PHP even).

But.. everyone… for crap sake… quit using IE11. It sucks monkey balls.

Agreed on the monkey balls comment…

If you’re having issues with our forums, just use another browser. Gracias, amigos and amigas!
