I recall that Bodog was going to stop taking US players starting in December? Is that still the case? I have not heard from Marc my acct rep there for some time, is he still around?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Even Bodog is going to stop accepting USA players? That’s very unexpected. They have been in the USA market for a very long time.

    Hi guys

Just to clarify, although Bodog will stop accepting US players after Dec 31st, the player/affiliate base will be transferred to a new, yet to be named casino. According to them, all affiliate tags will be kept in place and affiliates will still be compensated as usual for the players.

So, the only thing that’s changing is the name of the US brand from Bodog to X.

You say according to them.. does this mean it’s no longer part of the company? Has the player base been sold to a third party?

I believe the Mohawk guys that have had the licence will be running it going forward so the management will remain the same on that side but the brand will change…..Basically putting a new door number on the same house or at least thats my impression from following their announcements

Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG), the company that owns the bodog.eu operations and software, will begin operating under a new brand name as of Jan 1, 2012. That is all that will change. Affiliate tags will remain, commissions will be the same, account number same, software the same, wallets the same- you get the idea :) Anyway, don’t worry, affiliates and players will be receiving plenty of info in advance from your affiliate manager/MMGG.

    Thanks,
    Becky
