Microgaming’s Grand Slam of Slots II pays out $456,700

ISLE OF MAN – Microgaming, the world’s largest provider of online gaming software, announces the conclusion of its online multi-player network tournament, Grand Slam of Slots II.

The winner was Spin Palace player, A.P, who walked away with a cool $157,515.83. This capped off a great 24 hours for A.P who also won $1,000 in the Network $25k Monthly Monster Tournament the night before. Second place player Lucko scooped $78,780.75 and the third place player $39,367.54.

The massively popular Thunderstruck II slot was used for the first time ever in a slot tournament for the Grand Slam of Slots II final. Over 11 days of fierce competition, which saw the prize pool rise from $290,000 to an impressive $456,700, 290 lucky players ended up winning a cash prize from the 1,588 that played during the course of the tournament.

As no player managed to complete the full pay table; the bonus prize of $2.43m, which could have been collected in cash or solid gold bullion, remains unclaimed.
