    Default Rome Casino Audit

Over the past few days, it's come to my attention that my company has been the subject of CAP's first Affiliate Program Audit. Though I believe without a shadow of a doubt that they had the best of intentions in conducting it, the results could not possibly be further from the truth. Having said that, I've been in discussions with Robin over the last couple of days and we've determined that her report has been misread completely. I'm personally not interested in who was at fault so long as Rome's name is cleared completely and a public apology is made for the mistake. I look forward to a follow up post by Robin and The Professor to fully exonerate Rome Casino and to verify that what I speak here is the truth.

    The WhitePaper claimed the following:

    3/8 players were untracked
    8/8 second deposits were untracked

    The truth of Robin's report:

    1/8 players untracked
    8/8 second deposits tracked

Explanation for the sole untracked player:

During our research of this audit, we found that the untracked player was initially tracked when visiting RomeCasino.com, and when downloading the software. The player however, did not register at this time. It appears that during the time between download and registration, the player changed both their IP and cleared their cookies, which are the 2 methods our software uses to track registrations of players.

The affiliate Bonustreak’s player (Peralis) was initially logged and tracked when he came to our site via http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...pm&pmid=163991 His IP at the time was 196.3.94.228. He however only downloaded our software at this time, and did not register an account. His IP then changed to 196.3.94.225, where he then registered an account. Unfortunately, this change in IP led to him no longer being associated with Bonustreak, as his identification to our system had changed. The data backing this up can be seen on our report here: http://www.romecasino.com/cap-audit.php

Explanation for second deposits not appearing:

No explanation needed. As Robin will tell you, the auditors simply kept the money, didn't deposit it Rome Casino was made to look as if we stole the money while all the while, the auditors simply failed to deposit it.

Although Robin will backup our findings completely and without exception, we've gone 10 steps further and created a much more scientific report you to read that will put your minds at rest. Rome's tracking is 100% effective and so is our deposit tracking. Not only that but we have the best processing available in the industry as there is not a single American payment method we're aware of that we don't accept. I sincerely hope that after this terrible misunderstanding, you will change your minds and give us a chance to earn your business.

Our report including a complete rebuttal of the whitepaper can be found here:

Well, I think we can all say that the report was flawed and should largely be ignored.

Please do make your cookies for 90 days and overwriteable by another aff cookie. I know you are new to the industry, but the current set up allows for some affiliates to gain an unfair advantage and monopolize the acquisition of Rome players. We have such cases in history.

Other than that, I don't see a problem.

In the case of the tester with the cleared cookie plus dynamic IP - unfortunately we do lose players with this going on everywhere.

    Hi Dominique,

Actually given all the terrible things that were said about us, I'd prefer if the report was not ignored. In the end, it was proved that only one player was missing and for a pretty good reason. I bet you'll find this to be the case in most tracking systems under the conditions that Peralis deposited. The report was successful and proved us to be honest and that we tracked all the deposits.

Our new system to be implemented Monday will be completely cookiless. The last affiliate that referred the player will get the credit and there is no TTL on the cookie since there won't be one. We feel this is the ideal and most fair way to do things and we're very thankful for being made aware of this now and not further along.

Lastly, I am far from new to the industry as I've been in it for over 5 years and pretty much every show Don't you remember me? Thanks again for helping us clear this up. I'm hoping you'll give us another shot with your US traffic.

    BR,

    JC.

Sorry I have not addressed this before but in behalf of the error that was made by CAP forum I have instructed my staff to please add banners back to all sites. I feel it only fair that your casino be once again marketing by my site since this error has really damaged your business. I know that the entire staff at CAP is very sorry and I know the Professor stressed that many times as well. If I can do anything else J let me know.

Oh and it was cute that your guy wanted to go outside and have a snowball fight with me I should have went for it ..lol He is a good guy!

    Thanks C,

It's nice to know that despite all the turmoil with CAP at the moment, you are still taking the time to right mistakes that were made. I have been in communication with John Dang regarding a more public retraction of their whitepaper and he has agreed to do as much. Having said that, I appreciate you taking the time to help right a wrong and to give us another chance now that you know that the audit's results were in fact completely positive.

Prior to London, Gabe had never seen snow in those amounts before so as you can imagine, he was quite excited about it. However, he's stated to me in private that he is extremely disappointed that you weren't willing to participate in the snowball fight. For some reason, I have a feeling we won't get a second chance at that in Mexico

    BR,

    JC.
