    Hi Renee, Yaniv, and Helene,

Is Casino Rewards going to stop accepting new real-money players from the U.S.?

If so, specifically how long will existing players be allowed to continue playing?

    Thanks in advance.

So far the answer is no, I had a chat with Renee just now and she hasn’t heard anything.

Give them time they are in widely different timezones. Plus I am sure they might be trying to figure out what to do at this point in time if this is a Microgaming decision as it seems to be.

I’m not so sure it’s a MGS decision, I spoke to Doyles Room this morning and they didn’t know anything about it.

If this isn’t a MicroGaming enforced decision, then the panicking of some of their licensees (not CR …I’m just making a general point) surprises me a lot.

The gambling industry has proven itself to be pretty gutless over the last couple of years. The companies – I hope Casino Rewards group of casinos are among them – that stand up to be counted are the potential giants of the online gaming industry a decade hence.

And, purely from a self-interested perspective, I hope to continue to align my online gaming sites with the winners, not those companies that keep running scared everytime there is a setback.

And what is MG doing for their business? :)

if it was an MGS decision I’d consider getting another software for a separate casino to move my players over

I think they will be the last or one of the last to step out and probably will not if left up to them.

CR has been if nothing else very wise (can I say has b#lls) in its approach to OG and many of us saw them come out of almost no where to be a leader in the industry.

I’m confident they wouldn’t have made an announcement until after this meeting happens if that is what is going on.

I would like to see an announcement whatever it will be, so i can adjust sites if necessary.

The unofficial word is that Doyles will be leaving MG, and moving to a network (not sure which one), which will not restrict play on any U.S. player. Until transfer is complete, the ban on 13 states will continue under MG platform.

I think the reason no one replied is because they are on weekend break till sunday morning….

That is correct, we should have an answer from them this week.
