Please give us your thoughts as an affiliate on what you consider the most important feature of an affiliate program?

Overall Performance and Income Generated Rank #1 for me (I bet I am not the only one there). The term High Commissions alludes to this but can be misconstrued. I am aware of numerous programs that offer 50% or more, but generate far less bottom line revenue then other programs that I work with at 30%.

In the valley of the affiliate Income is King.

    my 2 cents … I look for

    1. Honesty
    2. Accurate Stats
    3. Pay on time

I look for all of the above – creatives are very important, a reputation of honesty among my fellow affiliates is extremely important, but I voted for stats. I don’t necessarily mean real time stats – I want thorough stats.

The more information the better. I need information to base campaigns on. Stats where you check and see how much money you made and that’s it are for the birds, and programs that limit themselves to that get bottom exposure, and surely never benefit from any experimental campaigns I may do.

I don’t see how some of the programs think you can do an intelligent job of marketing if all you know is how much you get paid this month.

I want information, creatives and responsive managers.

If I have those, I know I can generate good income, given the program is honest.

I look for brands that have the ability to attract large players, thorough stats that track each campaign down to the gritty, high (risk free) percentages. What I mean risk free is that our commission comes before royalties, bonuses, winnings, chargebacks. Weekly commission is also a big plus.

Do you provide url referrer stats?

    Simple Question.

If not – why should I be interested in promoting your program?

    1. Must have a good reputation with players.
    2. Must have a good reputation with affiliates.

If it is a brand new program then if it is Microgaming or Cryptologic I would give it a try (see #1). If it is other software I would wait and see.

Live stats , showing , clicks , registration , downloads , first deposits , total deposits , quick payment , i can go on and on but all programs should follow poker.com’s example.

Don’t be silly, honesty above all. Without that what good are the other choices?

Oh dear – “high commissions” is winning…:1Dopey:

I’m happy if the player is happy…so that’s the key for me…good clients (properties). So I went with “established company”, meaning the casino more than the affiliate program, as that makes me look into representing a casino generally, although that in turn depends on the software provider. Hmmm…can I vote for both? :)

But a happy player stays longer and leads to good income. I agree with prof….”income is king”, but measured by retention rates as opposed to commission rates (which I think is what he meant anyway). 20% of $10k is better than 50% of $1k :)

Extensive Stats & Quality Frontends – the two things I wouldnt be able to touch.

Would have to do it for me, everything else can be negotiated and changed easily. I need to see how my players are doing, how much they are depositing. Classic example would be seeing 20K a month in deposits, but only $500 in earnings – at least i know my players like depositing here!

Gimmicks dont do it for me. :terms:
