PKR Review

PKR is a new 3d poker site with stunning graphics. It is still in beta testing, but I have tested it and written a review of it. This should be very interesting to your visitors, so feel free to use it. Make sure you keep the link at the end though.

PKR Beta Test Review

PKR has finally arrived in beta form. Players who signed up early got the first invites for beta testing. To say the least, PKR is everything we expected and more. Even in beta form there were few glitches and game play was smooth.

Enough chit chat, let’s get down to the features.

Player Customization

Player customization was very extensive. You can change even the most minute details to get a perfect character. There are literally endless combinations of clothing, accessories, and facial features. After real money play begins, players will have to earn a certain amount of loyalty points to unlock certain features. One cool thing PKR may implement is the ability to bring “lucky charms” to the table. These could be things such as a card protector, a toy, etc.

View Options

In all of the view options there is a view box on the bottom left that displays your hole cards. Also, on the left side of the screen it shows each players’ name and what their previous action was. On the bottom there are five buttons you can customize to do certain actions, such as chip tricks or different body language actions. The flop turn and river are displayed on the bottom left under your hole cards.

The most unique view option is a dynamic camera which follows the action around the table. With this activated your view automatically switches to whichever player is acting. This was my favorite view, as you can see an in-depth view of each player as they act.

Another available view is orbital, which is a free cam that you can control. You can position this anywhere around the table, which can make for some pretty cool perspectives.

There is also the standard view option. This view is the least 3d of all the views, but it is more of a standard view if you are really used to 2d and don’t want too much of a switch.

Other Features

One cool option I saw was that besides taking notes on players, you can also assign them an image to rank them. For example, if you notice a player is very good and winning, you can make them a shark. This shark will stay by their character, so even if you play against them later you can still see it.
