Hi
Thanks to all who contributed to the negative carry over thread. It is very valuable.
I would like to propose another thread if you guys think there is value in it.
It relates to the issue of cross marketing. Here is a simple scenario.
I promote casino A from a group that owns casinos A and B. I don’t promote B.
A player registers at casino A. The group then markets B to him, either through popups, email or whatever means.
I should get credit for B, whether he signed up at A or not.
This is a bit of a bug bear of mine. I have noticed that at some groups I get players on casinos I never promote. At other groups I don’t even see clicks.
So to start the thread:
Groups that carry over affiliate tags:
CPays
WagershareGroups that don’t carry over affiliate tags:
IOGI will do more research as time permits.
Mods, maybe we can send a request to all the programs to contribute to the thread and state their position?
This is quite an issue for me, and I assume it is for a lot of people here.
Peace
Red

June 4, 2006 at 3:22 pm #694412AnonymousInactiveIt’s a bit late but I’d like to offer that –
Casino Profit Share
Gambling Wagesshow casinos in their programs that I don’t carry as receiving clicks and even players. This proves that they carry over affiliate links when cross-marketing.
I don’t know how to tell which programs don’t carry over affiliate tags – if clicks don’t show up in stats how would you know they’re supposed to be there?
I’m guessing that saying that I carry a total of 5 casinos for CR on two sites and have never had a click from any of their other casinos would say something.
It’s also possible that some programs don’t cross-market :sarcasm: 😮

Doesn’t appear like this is issue is much of a concern to too many people here, which I find very surprising.
Has anyone here tested Casino Rewards? They don’t seem to do exit popups, but I don’t have an account with any of their casinos so I don’t know if they do cross marketing via email.
I can;t seem to update the first post. If there is enough interest, maybe a mode can edit the list?
On the cross marketing issue, I think you may be right. I am actually quite surprised that most casinos don’t spam you with their other offers.
Als, it appears as if the exit popups at Casino Partners do not carry over the tags in their exit popups.
June 4, 2006 at 11:33 pm #694463AnonymousInactiveThe APCW has conducted audits focusing on cross marketing.
We are currently in the process of testing additional programs for cross marketing and will report our finding.
Any suggestions for programs to audit:
