Keywords (looking an expert seo)

webin asked 3 years ago
“Even CasinoCity.com, a very popular site, that currently happens to rank as the first result on google for the term “casinos” and sixth result on google for the term “casino” receives only a very small percentage of its traffic from those terms. Most of its traffic comes from thousands of other more specific keyword phrases.”

who is expert ? and who want to help me in this thing for onlinexcasinos ?

There are lots of experts but as for who wants to help that is another question. Most affiliates spend their time working on their own SEO. You might be able to find a good partner to work with but this part of the forum is best for asking questions or trying to get tips.

If I’m not mistaken, you are looking to rank your site for a few thousand specific keywords right?

I would start with content. Pick 10 phrases, make content that uses them and include them in your site. For long tail keywords it is easier to rank because so a decent density and a few links with them as the anchor text and you might show up fairly high. I hope this helps.

I will assuming you are looking for someone to help get you ranked for numerous long-tail keywords out there that are relevant to your site. Depending on your current rankings in the SERPs you will more than likely need SEO consulting, Content Creation and Link Development. As you are looking for someone to help you make sure you cover those topics.

Hi Webin,

This maybe some thing that we (GSY Network Ltd) can help you with.

We had had a look over your site and you have some great content. I think that you would benefit from some deep linking into your internal pages of your website.

As an example:

I see that for “Spin Palace Casino” you are ranked number 5 on Google.com. That term gets around 12,000 Global searches according to Google keyword look up.

There has been reports and leaked information about the % of clicks based on the position of a websites in the search engines. This does not take into account relevancy or branding.

Here are some examples:

Search position and % of visitors:

1. 42.13%
2. 11.90%
3. 8.50%
4. 6.06%
5. 4.92%
6. 4.05%
7. 3.41%
8. 3.01%
9. 2.85%
10. 2.99%

As you can see if you have a search term that gets 10,000 searches a month and you are ranked number 5 you would on average get 4.95% of clicks on your listing. If you improved your ranking from 5 – 3 then you are almost doubling your traffic on that search term.

From our experience it’s so much easer to get a websites ranked few places higher and that’s where you should focus your efforts.

I think the best think to do is look at your current ranking for all search terms and to work out which of these are searched the most and will bring you the most traffic. Once you have done that look at improving those terms.

If you would like us to give you a call please PM us with your contact number and we can explain more about whom we are and what services we offer.

We do also find that your page titles are a little shot.

Many thanks

Craig

What parker hasn’t pointed out is that Google keyword search tool is entirely inaccurate. Generally for gambling terms you should take maybe 10% of the number Google indicates and you probably have a more accurate figure in terms of the amount of traffic available.

As an addendum, adjusting “Broad Match” to “Exact Match” achieves a more accurate picture I find.

So webzooma, are you saying that we should take 10% of the ‘broad match’ total as a benchmark, or have you already chosen to look at ‘exact match’ and would still only look at 10% of that?

Is 12,000 google searches on Broad or Exact match?
