Does CPays still allow / tolerate spamming by it’s affiliates?

I really don’t understand what the fuss is all about?

Lets say that B4Playing does make revshare…so…they pay by CPA, if you are not a CPA affiliate…then don’t work with them…If u r and CPA affiliate…what do u care what do they make…you are getting the CPA you wanted.

    Hi

I will try and deal with all the comments and issues brought up as best as I can.

Allfreechips, I am not sure how you came to the conclusion that we are taking a rev share from the casinos, this is factually incorrect. We work on a CPA basis only. We would need a huge cashflow if we were to attempt to work on a rev share with the amount of properties we are dealing with and, contrary to popular belief, players do win lol, and we would potentially be left with a negative whilst paying out CPA.
You make it sound like B4Playing has some mind control over the players, I wish we did, but we will do our best to retain the players within the B4Playing properties that we promote so that the Multiple-CPA model brings you the dividends you would not otherwise receive.

Cagney, I am still investigataing this issue. What baffles me most is why a group of casinos would want to attach players to an affiliate in all their casinos when the player might join each one separately and possibly as “default”.

Casinobonusguy, to my knowledge we wont be making any more press releases about working with cpays. If we continue promoting their properties it will be based on how they work with us, after all we are their affiliate too.

Gamtrak, I am really sorry to hear about your problem and I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but if you have any evidence to approach them with regarding your deal then this is a legal issue between you and the affiliate program.

The way I see it is that for the majority of affiliates a multiple-CPA deal is a great prospect. Most affiliates do not have a highly ranked site on the search engines, have the constant flow of unique or returning traffic or have the assurance of picking up a whale of a player.
The affiliates that have been in the business a long time have built up many sites so that rev share has become a positive aspect for them, especially in the days when noone, including the search engines themselves, knew the value in SEO.
B4Playing is attempting to change the concept that rev share is the best thing for an affiliate by introducing multiple-CPA.
Whether you are a small, medium or super-affiliate it makes no difference. You are getting paid for a player that has the potential to earn you far more without fear of them disappearing. The min qualifying deposit is $50, which in my experience is the average min deposit made by new players. It is no secret that most players have more than one property on their desktop so the B4Playing strategy is simple, honest and will be effective. We are giving affiliates the chance to multiply their earnings through cross branding without fear of being in the negative from a winner or totally losing players through cross-marketing or other factors.

We are not associated with any gambling property. We are affiliates and we understand the business enough to know that B4Playing is the best tool to retain players and give affiliates the chance to earn far more per player than they normally would.

Have a good weekend everyone and if you have anymore questions or comments then please feel free contacting me.

    Good luck with that.

Unless you associate with good programs and casinos – all you are doing is forwarding our hard-earned traffic (players) to bad properties. I don’t see the point in allowing some other organization to forward my players to casinos that suck.

That’s just my opinion, but I’d bet I represent a good number of us.

I’d say this software’s biggest ally will be Playtech and CPays…

    Hi kwblue,

I have been reading various watchdog forums and to be honest i think that the majority of the Playtech casinos have really improved their act and players are no longer treated as a commodity.Their software is excellent and as long as they stick to their T&C’s there can be no complaints.

We have no preference or favouritism as to where players decide to play, we just offer plenty of good options. All the other platforms will do equally as well so everyone should be happy working with us.

I maintain that we are affiliates and the program we offer is designed to maximise affiliates profitability. We have no connection other than that with the properties listed on the site.

    Thanks

add casinova, scummy RTGs and other rogues to that list.

    @Harvey

I would like to add that Gamtrak and other well respected members of CAP probably have all the evidence they need to prove that they’ve been messed around by CPays. “Presenting” that evidence just never yielded any success as CPays are a rogue bunch of mavericks and don’t generally accept evidence. And I don’t think it is just an issue between an affiliate and CPays. I think that as soon as you chose to promote this program you are associating yourself with them. Your acquiescence of CPays’ tactics won’t benefit you in the long run.

I agree some of the casinos don’t have as much bad press about them lately… Is that due to lack of players or better performance, I am not sure. The programs (i.e., CPays) have no less bad press, though.

I am sure you will do your best there to make things good – I just don’t think a program that ‘gets into bed’ with CPays has enough ethics to make the right decisions.

That is my opinion, though, and may not reflect everyone else’s.

    Hi

I am certainly not trying to acquiesce Cpays tactics or behaviour, I am just trying to gauge the reaction of affiliates before we work with certain programs. I am not here to arbitrate in situations people have experienced with other programs.

I really do appreciate your comments and I wasnt being flippant with my comment to Gamtrak, I just dont have any solution for that scenario other than bringing legal action against them.

    Thanks

    you really are a newbie.

you know how newbies lived to come home for vietnam? any war? by listening to those who were there fighting long before them…. and were still there to give advice.

not down on you …… just saying …. learn from history. take the advice. you’ll come out alive and able to give advice much later on.

btw: B4 …. who you eat and sleep with are those you’ll be associated with … those who’s scruples you’ll be judged by ……. and in the end …. more than likely those who will make …. or break you.

think hard before who you decide to be associated with

    It reflects my opinion.

Cpays is complete and utter trash. They can be flushed down the toilet as far as I’m concerned. They have abused affiliates for years — the only reason we’re hearing less about it now is because (1) they aren’t certified here anymore, (2) many affiliates are finally aware of how bad this group really is, either through personal experience or by reading numerous warnings here and elsewhere, and (3) Playtech pulled out of the U.S., therefore less affiliates are working with Playtech programs.

Good luck B4 — you’re next in line to be screwed by Cpays.

I also wanted to comment about B4’s spamming. In recent weeks B4 has done a bang up job of spamming and shilling every forum they possibly can. Spam here, spam at Casinomeister, spam at Winner Online. “Newbie” conveniently appeared a few weeks ago, and pretty much all he does is defend B4Playing. Hmm… Is this really Itay or some other B4 employee? Hmm…

90% of Itay’s recent posts are useless one-liners that exist only to increase the number of links pointing to B4laying (via the links in his signature). I will give him credit for his lengthy posts about blackhat SEO, but recently the posts have been useless and excessive. I remember coming here a week ago to check the board, and there were like 20 new posts (which was a lot since I had been here only an hour earlier) — all of these new posts were from Itay, all crap posts like “did you get it figured out?” or “I hope it works for you,” — of that general useless nature.

    Anyway…

To the new affiliates out there —

CPA is a huge mistake. Someone will always lose with a CPA deal, and chances are, it will be you, the affiliate — not the affiliate program. I can’t stress enough to the new affiliates — take the rev share deals, not the CPA deals. You will make FAR more on rev share than you ever will on CPA. One loyal whale can make you thousands of dollars a month. Compare that to a onetime CPA of $200 or whatever the case may be. Hmm. $200? Or $10,000 over the lifetime of the player? I can’t imagine losing all of that money to the likes of Cpays or some other slimy outfit; it makes me ill to think about it.

If you’re an unethical, greedy affiliate, and if you think that you can refer a bunch of Chinese players to deposit the minimum $50 while you collect a $200 CPA (or whatever it is) — you will be shut down. All of your supposed “earnings” will be confiscated. Then you’ll probably come here and make your very first post to whine about being “ripped off,” possibly in broken English, while the rest of us wait for the affiliate manager to confirm what we suspect — that you’re a fraud, and that you tried to rip off the program.

End ranting. Sorry for the negativity; I just feel really strongly about all of this.

I agree, the spammy one liners are really annoying. There’s a guy I see in many hosting related forums who does that even more excessively and Powweb removed his signature lol.

Newbie is also a very blatant and dull way of influencing a discussion. I can’t remember the username but there was another user who came in with 0 posts to offer defense in a post where Itay came under fire. Probably discussing his merits from setting up the blackhat conference.
