LeoVegas Sponsor WRC2 @ Rally Sweden
Rally National Team driver Fredrik Ahlin will be on the starting line in this year’s Rally Sweden. Together with co-driver Morten Abrahamsen, he will venture out into the forests of Värmland in a Ford Fiesta R5 in WRC2 class.
Fredrik and Morten drove his first WRC2 competition in Rally Sweden last year and then stopped at a very creditable third place. “We were glad our podium and then looked forward to more races in the World Cup, but unfortunately ended the next rally with a food poisoning that sucked the energy out of me,” says Fredrik.
The team finished the season on top in the final round of Rally Championship, where they took the overall victory in the Rally of Uppsala in a WRC2 car. “It was the kick that was needed and that made me even though a more or less sabbatical motivated me to a bet for 2015,” he says.
This year’s start in Rally Sweden will be roaring, with LeoVegas as a WRC2 sponsor!
