Virgin Poker would like to thank all affiliates and their players who came to the 4th Virgin Poker Festival in London’s Loose Cannons Club! The Festival itself was again a major success and will feature in all major UK Poker Magazine, plus other major consumer titles such as – BBC Sport, Zoo Magazine, City AM & Maxim – so your keep your eyes peeled since your affiliate player shirts may appear in these premier titles!
The Virgin Poker Team is back in the office after a typically exhausting weekend of poker action! All the players I spoke to on the Sunday seemed to be having fun and it was great to see so many of you getting into the spirit of things!
Affiliated Player Wins
We had 181 players for the main event with plenty of ever present festival players, players who had never played in a live event before and even a handful of well known faces in the poker world popped up such as – Kara Scott and Brain Townsend.
The eventual winner was Canadian Niels Rock a member of the London Poker Meet Up. The player took home a cool £8,000 for his efforts, and we are sure there will be some good banter on the LPMU group pages.
