We have decided that there will be a method to our madness after all at AffiliateGuardDog.com.
Our Terms and Conditions Review Process:
1. Set up Terms and Conditions within our capture and alerts system.
2. Store the current Terms and Conditions.
3. Evaluate the Terms and Conditions – Summary writeup will include all terms that are both questionable and predatory.
4. *NEW – There will be a section within the forums (Affiliate Programs Under Review) set up for discussion between Affiliate Guard Dog moderators and the particular program. This will give the programs a chance to FIX their problems prior to a ‘PREDATORY’ label being assigned.
5. If the program does NOT respond at all within 10 days to the request for clarification (or if no progress is being made), the program will be deamed predatory and the forum section will be moved to the ‘Affiliate Programs’ section.
6. There will, additionally, be a sub forum for ANY affiliate manager to be able to give his/her views on their terms WITHOUT replies. This will allow them to post their position even if we do not agree.
I feel this is in the best interest of live discussion and will help us get those terms and conditions changed by working with the programs.
