We’ve got the VP (and most likely the CEO) of Accoona to speak in Las Vegas.
For those that don’t know who they are, they claim to be “the competitor to Google. ” They will discuss search engine algorithms and the evolution of search engines over the years. They will of course cover gaming related terms as well.
The cool part is that they are amenable to meeting with online gaming operators. I’m finding quite a few new search engines on the block open to meeting with you guys and doing business with you.
This would be a huge cash influx for a search engine. If you extrapolate what will happen long term, looks like the ‘Search Engine Wars’ of the mid-1990’s will return in a few years time.
This is all great news for the online gaming industry: More advertising options, better ROI for marketing dollars spent…..and of course, more traffic.
