Hi,
I am a newbie and I am wondering if it is still worth it to start a new casino affiliate website.
There are sooooo many casino affiliate websites already :whoa:
I have been promoting online gaming since early 2006, and I can tell you that at one time, it was quite lucrative. But over the years, there have been so many changes within the industry from so many different angles (from rouge affiliate programs to governmental legislation and intrusion), that the treasures that were once potentially available to those that worked it right have pretty much dried up.
I don’t want to discourage anyone who wants to try their hand at something worthwhile. But you might want to think twice about spending a whole lot of time and effort on something that just won’t bear fruit in the end. But if you think that you can make it happen, then by all means, go for it.
As for me, my revenues have dropped off dramatically over the past few years, but I have my gaming sites still up and running. Since they have been there for almost a decade, there is no reason to take them down just yet. But I really don’t put much time or energy into them so much these days. Instead, I am searching around for the next thing to catch fire, and hopefully jump in early enough to earn a few dollars before the well dries up. So far, I have not found that “thing”. But the search continues….
