I have finished reviewing the facts of this situation and will address both issues below.
Fortune Affiliates / Fortune Lounge
I have spoken to their management about the concerns raised around their deductions. We will require them to address each and every concern brought forward by any CAP member since every instance is showing varying percentages around deductions for comps and progressive contributions. The process will look like this:
– Send an e-mail to support(@)fortuneaffiliates.com with your FA user ID and place in the subject line “Review of Deductions – FAxxxx”
– Allow 3 business days for a response and initiation of a dialogue/review of your affiliate account including your request for substantiation
– If no contact is made within 3 business days by FA/FL, please PM me with your preferred e-mail address and FA account ID and we’ll make sure someone gets in touch
Most casinos do not go into the level of detail that FA does in their back-end as it relates to showing GGR/NGR and the respective deductions. From my observation, it *seems* as though this was done in an effort to be more upfront and transparent with their affiliates but that naturally has it’s own negative implications which are now coming to light. Either way, in order for FA/FL to maintain their listing on CAP, any and all concerns around this must be addressed.
AussieDave
Some background for those of you who don’t know: AussieDave was banned from CAP a long time ago due to constant attacks on members and breaking our forum rules. After some time, he reached out to us with a desire to have his account reinstated and we had a conversation about what our mutual expectations would be going forward. We made a decision to reinstate his account at that time. Since then, the same type of insidious attacks have been directed to ourselves personally and other members. This is the same reason why he’s been banned on other forums including AGD and GPWA.
In addition to his behavior, the reason why AussieDave was swiftly banned was because we were provided evidence that indicated the stats posted were from an account not owned by AussieDave, but by another affiliate named Brian (last name intentionally redacted). We were not sure if the affiliate account was somehow compromised or what the status was, so until we could verify this information, we had to remove his access and ability to post stats from this specific account.
Since he’s decided to continue the attacks against CAP and ourselves personally, he’s no longer welcome here under any circumstances. I wish to reiterate that AussieDave was NOT banned due to *any* sort of pressure from FA/FL.
