We wouldn’t run adverts on any sites that are too controversial in nature. Any good ad agency or exchange would be able to filter out, very easily, any sites that advertisers might not want to be on and we exercise common sense in that regard. There’s even a feature in the adserver we use (Doubleclick) that enables us to see if our adverts appear on any such websites. Of course, what affiliates do is another matter as that can’t be so easily monitored, however we’d take action against any affiliate who advertised in such places. I know other operators turn a blind eye or even choose to advertise on such sites and I don’t have any strong personal opinion over whether it’s acceptable to do so or not.
