The GPWA used to mean something. Regardless of forum politics, its foundations were always for the best interest of its members and i-gaming affiliates. When Corfman (aka casinocity) got his hands on the GPWA, much like APCW, all that went out the window.
Now it’s nothing but a money grabbing, commercial entity, who only cares about numbers and fattening its bank account by using and abusing its member base trust.
Current gpwa.org Meta Description
Gambling webmasters working with each other and with reputable online casinos and gambling sites to earn more money as affiliates.
When an affiliate forum gives carte blanche to its sponsor programs, looks the other way when these programs conduct unethical actions and don’t protect the best interests of our affiliate community on a whole, then it’s about time places like this are kicked to the curb and affiliates walk out en masse.
As for Universal, I used to have a lot of time for him. I considered him one of my mates (buddies). However after a few incidents at the GPWA which he chose to sit on the fence over, instead of having my back (as I’d done for him), it became clear, his alliances lay with the GPWA. Who as I’ve said, don’t give a toss about their affiliate members.
Edit: The GPWA have run numerous Private Forum Votes to strip sponsorship. However when these votes return a “YES”, and, if it’s a program which makes Corfman/GPWA/APCW/casinocity etc. etc., money, Corfman uses excuses to keep the rogue affiliate program as a GPWA sponsor.
If that doesn’t raise red flags and tell affiliates who the GPWA care about, nothing will!
PS Food for thought… Without affiliate members and the support they give by posting, signing up to sponsor etc . etc., places like the GPWA et al would be ghost towns.
