Perhaps if you can have a Blog as the main site and the forum as a subpage or the other way around. Cause now if I stumbled upon this forum – I am not sure I would get pulled in to start contributing .
Or if you can get a section with – this is why I have this forum – so the visitors quickly can see the purpose of it – besides making money on advertising
