Both ICE and LAC conference took place at the beginning of the month. ICE was from Monday 4th – 6th February. The last day of January fell on Thursday 31st and then the 1st Feb fell on a Friday.. For programs who pay early on in the month and they’re disrupted by conference dates and the EOM falling on a Friday, it’s not ideal but one has to cut some slack.
However for programs who pay mid to late month there really is no excuse. Reiterating it’s not like they are not aware of conference dates well before hand.
