Though if you have a decent player base who play monthly you can ride out the Google mishaps. Least that what I’ve been doing lately.
I’m also very greatful my long tail serps are still ranking well. They didn’t get affected by Penguin, Panda etc etc, not like my main focus keywords. They unfortunately took a beating of which I’m just starting to recover from now.
If it wasn’t for these “long tails” which at one point were making up around 85% of my traffic, I’d be a lot worse for wear right now.
