I couldn’t agree more. I’ve spent the last few months just focusing on a handful of sites. It’s just to much work to keep a large network of sites fresh. We have about 80 active sites and if I could find some buyers to pay fair value I would probably go down to about 10 sites at most while using the funds from the sales for content and SEO.
I do however think that just having 1-2 sites is very dangerous these days. Google has destroyed traffic for so many sites over the last year. If you get caught up in their storm you could be out of business overnight.
