I can’t add much more to what you’ve said arkyt.

However I want to say this.

If affiliates (that’s you and I) are to have any chance of survival then we all need to join forces.

In the past most affiliates wont do or say anything unless it was impacting on their income. However taking this type of stand, as we are seeing now, has empowered programs to steal from everyone.

I too used to think I could trust XYZ program and ABC affiliate manager but after being shafted more than once that illusion of this industry being all buddy buddy, vanished when I discovered someone I trusted has ripped me over $250K.

Knowing you’ve been scammed for that much cash ain’t a none too nice feeling!

There should be zero tolerance for those programs who steal from affiliates.

I’ve asked this question numerous times before across various forums and no one has given me a definitive answer as yet. I’ll ask it again. How do we as affiliates prevent programs from stealing from us?

Affiliates refer the player, receive a commission and that’s that. I’ve seen this all before albeit in a different environment. Here’s to what I’m alluding to.

Friends of mine sub contracted to a large diamond mining company in South Africa. The contract stipulated that the company retained all diamond production and the sub contractor still had to give off 40% gross plus a 5% marketing fee of the diamonds to the company they sub contracted to.

To top it all the company sold the diamonds without the sub contractor being present. So you can only imagine what happened. At the end of the day the sub contractor only received a fraction of the original selling price of the diamonds.

The same principle applies to the online gambling industry. If we want to be successful in this industry we need to get a handle on our players.
