Well that depends on who your asking haha. For me it almost certainly would have an extremely positive impact. Regulation means just that… and at this moment, it seems our industry is dominated by a few affiliates (you know who you are). That would likely mean that the new guys would get a better chance with more opportunities and a more even playing field. This same progression is evident in the upcoming changes in Google’s algorithms as well. Level playing fields mean a greater change for the smaller guys in general…but if you were to ask the affiliates that are making real money they will probably be singing a different tune.
Another question is will they actually do it, and for a long time I was still saying no way for 2013. But now that I’m reading that the brick and mortar casinos are estimated to loose 10% on average from the Feds dragging their feet….there may be hope after all. Nothing moves regulation and legislation faster than big tax dollars going bye bye.
