I just watched a matt cuffs video the other night that says Google doesn’t use the kw meta tag and he also said he didn’t know of any SE that still does.
Whenever I update a page I remove most of them and leave 1 or 2 in there.
Its the description meta you need to pay attention to and it should be about 155 characters. (including spaces)
title tag should be no more than 70 characters. (including spaces)
