I don’t have a total solution, but it works for me.

When I want to see sites and games that are not allowed for USA players I setup my default web browser with a UK based proxy server (cost me only $2.49 a month Where to Play Online Poker and Casino Games from the US ) and then I go to a site like videoslots.com that have free online practice games.

I can play the practice games all I want and actually experience the games so at least I know what I’m talking about.

It’s also great of course for reading the detail terms and conditions for bonuses.

Without this ability I’m just left in the dark and relying on banners and other reviews for information – not a good thing.

I have not done it, but if you want to register for a casino and download the software you’ll have to supply a local address and phone number (more trickier than just a proxy). But if you get past that, I believe the software may access the proxy server from your default browser and let you ‘in’. But since I’ve never done that, it’s only a quess.

But this works for what I need.
