Yup, the dogfood one is new to me – but interesting – makes you think about the interconnectivity of the whole food chain (but it’s probably not).
But I’ve actually heard the ‘soup to nuts’ one many times. I’m sure it goes back to before the time of walmart where you could expect to find anything you wanted to buy in one store.
They sure do not translate well.
