Did you just change your title tag?
I would suggest putting the affiliate banners on all pages and on forum pages (at the top and the bottom)
I would also suggest putting up game pre-views or information about 1 – 1.5 weeks advance of the event.
Plus put up current odds of sports events on a page and link to it from all pages
