I met this message when I logged in at Expekt Affiliates today:

Quote:
Dear Affiliate,

In the continuous effort to ensure the competitiveness and sustainability of Expekt’s affiliate program, we’d like to inform you that we are currently revamping our offer with new state of the art features, new products for affiliates to promote and, at the same time, making sure that our terms and conditions are respected and applied in all markets. Our current actions are meant to make our program up to the market standards, tighten up on affiliate abuse, which unfortunately was contaminating our program, and restricting sources of bad quality traffic.
Thus we are introducing measures to effectively enforce our terms and conditions and, in particular, those which relate to the revenue transferred from month to month and product account consolidation. As you might be aware, Clause 6.3 of Expekt’s Standard Terms and Conditions states that payments each month are subject to a minimum threshold of €50. Accordingly, cumulative revenue which is earned across all Expekt products in any month, and which is below the minimum threshold (including Negative Net Revenue), shall be carried over to the following month and shall be payable when it collectively exceeds the Minimum Threshold.

As the competitive landscape toughens and markets become regulated, it becomes fundamental to introduce these improvements to ensure the integrity and continuity of the program. Managing a program a decade old, Expekt is confident to continue providing an excellent support to its’ affiliates and to continue deserving the trust that has been deposited upon us.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,
Your Affiliate Team

So the problem isn’t new affiliate software, closing of affiliate program etc. (or perhaps the Everest Betclick Group actually did listen to their affiliates in all subsidiaries…).

Unfortunately, the problem isn’t solved for the affiliates whose accounts are closed on alleged fraud, but it is a bit more tricky. If only Expekt would be a little more transparent about this, maybe a third party like CAP could liaise and perhaps look at the evidence??
