I’ve looked into it and there is some legal recourse… at least there is in my case – but honestly 30k is just starting to hit the mark where it becomes worth pursuing. I’m one of the users who posted recently that I was owed over 30k by one of the bingo operators. The new management is taking actions to rectify the situation so I’m happy to inform you that I need not travel that road. I’m grateful to CAP and Brooke for their roles in that.
You are right though.. I would love to see more legal discussion on the forum. One thing that confused me was whether I should hire a lawyer in the district the company is registered in or in my own legal jurisdiction – which is also the locale of the actual owner.
Legal action for an affiliate is interesting though because the damages are not just limited to the specific debt they have to you. The breach of contract effects future earnings from the players that you have sent as well. Heap your legal fees on top of that.
A bird typically shows its feathers before they get that indebted to you.. but sometimes the best affiliate programs become the worst.
