Hi Jill-O and Rak,

Rak, sounds like you’ve got a good thing going there and I agree with you on the trust part of having them on your profile rather than fan page. I just wonder about appealing to the masses. Since FB limits you to 5k friends; if you do ever reach that pinnacle you’d be reaching something like 10-20k folks in that network at optimal levels. Which is really nice since it’s a specifically targeted market, but it will be limited to that number. And in the end how will they respond to actually being marketed. Please keep us updated on this :)

Jill, I haven’t done any FB advertising but have been reading up on it and doing some research. There are some great advantages to it, but yeah, it could kick your butt fast if you don’t watch over it. I’ll definitely do some dabbling in it soon, but what I’d like to know is if anyone has found a way to push some gambling products. I mean FB has 2 really strict rules, no ‘xxx’ content and no gambling. I’ve heard of people finding ways around it but no one is really sharing how. I’d love to hear any feedback on that or just general FB advertising for affiliates as well.
