Just WHY do we need to get advice or service from an attorney specialized in online gaming? We are having a dispute with BCP. An internet marketing company, no?

I am an advertiser for them. I do not gamble, nor have I anything to do with it.

Their TOS states we should get paid up until the 27th. I had an agreement with them, not with one of the casinos so it seems.

Totally agree, last time I checked we dont hold gambling licenses, we dont process transactions, and we dont take any part in the inner workings of the casinos, or the affiliate programs for that matter.

I heard right from BCP, “advice” about thinking twice before perusing legal action against them because supposedly I could end up having legal problems due to them having been a US facing outfit.

How about this…

You be BCP, I be the affiliate group pulling you into court for unpaid debts…

Here we are, in court (providing your stupid enough to let it get there).. disputing funds owed..

Do you mention that you have been servicing US players?
Do I mention you servicing US players?
Are we here in court to talk about US players?

How is this something that an affiliate should be concerned about when seeking recourse for funds owed.

If some US facing casinos are engaging in fraudulent activity to process transactions, and we are left with “black friday” situation, please someone explain to me how any risk or liability is absorbed by the affiliate. I guess godaddy should be in the firing lane for leasing domains to these companies, and CAP should look out because they have been aiding in the appropriation of affiliates to these companies. Hell, we can call it conspiracy.

To me it sounds a lot like propaganda. Like a gag routine. I am an honest business owner, if I thought I were breaking the law Id not be in this business.

Today I was talking to a friend of mine about this turmoil in the industry, a friend who is in no way involved in it, and he said to me Quote:

[08:08 pm] 898 ******: no
[08:08 pm] 899 ******: you are a casino affiliate
[08:08 pm] 896 ******: since day 1 they have ****** over affiates
[08:08 pm] 897 ******: its a standard thing

Am I the only one humiliated about this reputation us affiliates have as a doormat?
Isnt it time we grew a backbone and put an end to this madness?

Warren, in another thread you mentioned that you would keep on this until a resolution was reached which is acceptable to all parties. Let me go on record as saying, this is not acceptable. What would be acceptable, is for BCP to pay its debts.
