looks good, but you’re missing out on the potential of the 5 seconds which you have in order to sell something to the consumer.. on the homepage above the fold put in some eye grabbing deals / visuals IMO (although that banner in itself is pretty eye grabbing!)
maybe the header is taking up too much (valuable) real estate?
