I personally think it is a massive infringement on privacy, and to make it the default (and not opt-in) adds insult to injury. Not only is Google collecting are data, you can bet that they are going to use this data and sell it to companies, similar to the way cable companies aggregate data on their DVR and head-end systems, with people’s viewing habits. Big Brother is watching, and it’s all about their bottom line, don’t let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.
