No problem at all. I’ve heard nothing back from him for some time – as soon as I pointed out that escrow wouldn’t confirm his ‘payment’ as genuine, he vanished and failed to reply to me.

FWIW, I can’t see any “miscommunication”. He told me he’d paid it. escrow say he hasn’t. He sent me a screenshot of the alleged ‘payment’ and escrow tell me it’s not been paid. He promised funds by various dates. All came and went. Then he vanished and wouldn’t reply.
