That’s one way to get around the problem but there’s no reason to let those sites benefit by being affiliates.
Their sites’ traffic is based on stolen and manipulated content and this should be dealt with at the source – i.e. potential income from their improper conduct. Sever their affiliations and they won’t have motivation to maintain their sites.
