Ben is an honest guy and I have no doubt that he will settle this matter with you.
I don’t think it is such a great idea to publicly announce he owes you money etc. Better to handle this with him alone and simply ask people if they know how to contact him rather than disclosing this much info as it may be seen as a negative against him.
Totally understand your frustration but like I said, Ben is an honest guy so you need not worry.
