Love the enthusiasm … (come on Exeter!) …
But it won’t be a betting promotional opportunity …

Also to Daweller – online sports betting in the US has a wee bit of a stigma attached to it thanks to the often quoted Wire Act – drafted way back in 1959 (I think). I believe that in this act there was specific mention of betting on sports … poker and casino were not mentioned because back thne no-one ever thought that this betting was possible “over wire”.
The “Wire Act” was to do with telephone betting across state lines, but it appears that it has been successfully used by government agencies against internet sportsbooks too – thus causing a much discussed “grey area” around sports within the US.
Add in some high powered lobby groups, for horse racing and NFL, and the land based casino, and online sports betting has come a bit of a pariah in the US … so sports betting tends to fly under theradar a bit in the US – compared to it’s mainstream activity in Europe and Australasia.
That being said – if you want to start a sports betting thread from time to time – I’d certainly read it and take part if I could provide smoe input!
