Harrah’s Enters Online Gaming: As if we all couldn’t see this coming. The Vegas heavyweights are now pushing legislation to remove online bans and furthermore Harrah’s is the first to jump into the act.
Not to sound too much like a conspiracy theorist, but I am not the only one who believes this: A few years ago when Bush signed that last minute nonsensical anti online gaming bill, we were stunned. Or were we. NO! The Vegas big shots missed out on the online revolution of the mid to late nineties and lost so much ground it could never be caught. So, using influence (money) they had that ridiculous online gambling ban tacked on to a port Act Bill. Giving it several years to beat back the online action, they are now ready to put on a legal show that includes sponsoring Senate Reps and the like, and introduce to America, and new and better monitored version of online gaming. One that will be taxed from all angles and with all proceeds going into the pockets of the American Casino fat cats Shame on the American politicians and this circus act.
