Dominique lookingt after people like me i would have to disagree I think it would be a bad idea for her to do that. Everybody is saying that they want CAP to be 100% clear and transparent how can it be if she has deals with a huge number of the affiliate managers regarding her site to me that is a clear conflict of interest.

I think one of the points that Triple777s made was that the affiliates run CAP mayeb I miss read it, but in my mind the affiliates the forums what they are, the operators make exist the funds enable the sites to run and the staff to be paid ect it is a joint effort.

I am sure I could add more i might later.

But just my thoughts for what they are worth.

Definitely a conflict of interest. :) Besides, I like my relationships with aff managers the way they are, it would be a totally different ball game if I dealt with you guys in a different capacity. Besides, I value my ability to shout bloddy murder when an aff program adopts a policy thats not good for affs. That is something I will not ever give up.

Affiliates run CAP in the sense that if there are no affs, there is no CAP. If affs vote with their feet and leave, there is nothing here. If they vote to stay, that’s when the whole thing can happen.

And you betcha the contributions of the operators are important for the functioning of CAP. It does cost money to run a place like CAP.

And the value is still here, if you are an aff and you want to find out if you want to promote a program, just put the name in search and you will see the good and the bad.

Let’s hope Lou and Warren arrive at an amicable solution that everyone can be happy with.
