I have a question that is along the same lines as this concerning keywords and Google.

Say I am in Europe and on Google.com searching ‘Best Casinos’ – My site comes up #6 on the first page. Does this mean that someone in the US will get the same results when on Google.com searching the same keywords?

Depending on where you are located, Google will serve you the local version of their site by default. If you are in the UK, you will get google.uk instead of google.com, in France it would be google.fr

The search results are different between them as Google attempts to determine where your site should be shown. They do this based on your TLD (top level domain), so if you have a .uk or .fr in your domain, Google will include you in their .uk or .fr results accordingly. If you have a .com domain, Google determines where you should be by the location of your hosting company. You can override Google’s assumption on your .com by going to Google Webmaster Tools and telling them which country your website should be shown.
