Hi all,
just to be fair (and I don’t know who’s address is what .. am going on what I read) but as I understand it the documents where they got the information were public docs and the addresses were written as being business addresses.
I would have same problem and never thought about it until now but I have written in my home addy in all my business addresses.
Who’d have thunk?
but anyway it was mentioned in a thread at another forum that it was bad journalism and perhaps so by media standards but if so I”m amazed that to hear that to be professional you should go beyond what you read as information which was provided by THAT party … as being correct.
To read Mr C’s post which I am the first to step up and say that gpwa has done more towards fanning these flames than ever thought of here and as someone pointed out ,.. you need not take my word for it … do some searches with “gpwa” in it and then go there and do some for “cap” and the story tells itself … but anyway Mr C states that as soon as he found out he had it taken down in less than 15 minutes.
If everybody takes a step back and cools off a bit I think you’ll be able to piece together a working scenario where yes they went after Lou but really no more than would anybody else (a news station crew or newspaper reporter assigned to the subject) … short of the address thing which as I mentioned IMHO that is a mistake which I know I would have made and certainly not in any kind of malicious intent.
Heck I could have been doing an article about how great I think CAP is and how grateful I am to its founder who’s business is located at …
before everybody gets their pitch forks and tar … understand how I fix things with myself is to try and see the other’s side and I try to find my flaws so that when I do go to battle I am as prepared as possible. Sometimes i wake up and realize I had been really missing the point on the subject … and sometimes I don’t … (actually I think I usually do get it… just not sometimes in a timely fashion
)
but what I learned from that is that despite how passionate I am about a subject it doesn’t automatically make me right. Which is why I have stayed neutral other than I come here more than there … because some of the people involving some of the issues are situations where they and Lou (or CAP) worked closer together than what I would consider a normal relationship between Lou and a CAP member and as such it leaves a lot of avenues open for someone outside looking in …. to take a wrong turn and find it dead ends.
There’s a lot of water under these bridges and in some cases nothing is bringing it back and its fool’s mission to try. (you notice I don’t cry for union any more … now I just hope for a cease-fire in order to focus on the larger enemies at hand) and they are there and loving every minute of every negative post or action made because they’d love nothing more than to walk thru the battlefield after the fact and grab (from both sides) what’s worth anything and kill what was once feared as bigger and better competition while its still weak from fighting amongst themselves.
(I used a lot of sideways examples or metaphors there and should probably make clear there are no deaths nor threats of death … I was just wanting to try and illustrate that the programs who are questionable … kept in check largely out of fear of repercussion rather than their own integrity or ethics … will turn any kind of sign of weakness to their best advantage via means of deeper shavings and lots of late payment situations where you have to email them fifty times every month …
where yes they went after Lou but really no more than would anybody else (a news station crew or newspaper reporter assigned to the subject)
I should note that I did NOT see the video but rather am speaking about what I have read in posts at gpwa … I just don’t seem to make it over to Integrity’s videos anymore since he stopped having them here and am not inclined to start up again now after this incident.
