Users cannot delete threads, but Moderators can. Brainman is a mod in the sportsbetting area. I will check post (I can see deleted posts and find out why he felt it was a good idea to delete the thread. Brainman isnt terribly active so the post must have been pretty offensive to him for him to delete it.)
