I’ve also read reports where they’ve “busted” sports gambling gambling rings that seemed to be little more than people acting as middlemen for overseas sites. (ie collecting money as deposits and processing payouts)

I’ve received emails and letters from large US based financial organisations in the past (Western Union, VISA) wanting us to remove their livery and the facts that they’re supplying services to gambling sites – despite not arguing with our statements.

So affiliate sites are registering in the mindset of some of the financial players, why not Uncle Sam too?

The difference seems to be in actual handing of money – affiliate sites don’t do it. But we do get paid out based on the sports betting revenues generated by our activities … and it’s not too far-fetched to belive that this could be construed as “aiding and abetting” in some sort of test case …

Although I find it incredible to believe that we would be targetted as affiliates, I do not find it impossible. So we now expressly make sure that none of our O/S travel goes anywhere near the United States.
