if you read the article (provided by Stup) it basically confirms that there is NOT human involvement in a particular site’s ranking with exception of taking them out of the game.
the reason for this is very logical and makes perfect sense to me … and that is the more you have humans changing results … the more humans it is going to take to keep those results current.
what a slippery slope that would be.
On the other hand as S puts it … quality control situation is understandable
