I know of more then just a handful of Affiliate Managers who have gone through similar ordeals. The excuse is always the same, this has been locked, ran into this problem, ran into that problem. Everyone has bills and commitments. The unfortunate thing is, when you haven’t been paid for 1-2 straight months, you have to start finding other ways to keep the income flowing.
As an affiliate manager, I’m sure you put your whole effort into coming up with marketing strategies, promotions, and building up the reputation of a program. An affiliate manager is meant to stand by the program, they are the link between management, and the affiliate / advertising world.
You’re meant to be paid on time, not months late. If they really wanted to pay you on time, they would have. I am sure, they have the money they need to live, pay bills, and take care of everyday living.
Don’t ruin your reputation because the affiliate program can’t get their act together, it could be a sign of things to come.
