There are always at least two sides to every story…

As one of those who have poured blood and sweat into Pimp Your Poker I feel a need to get involved in this.

I have been acting as a consultant on Pimp Your Poker for a while now and before committing my time to the project I made a number of inquiries into the financial security for both affiliates and players.

I can assure you this is not a rinky dink fly by night set up. there is a major amount of money being poured into the software and advertising budget. We’ve already delayed launch by a month to make sure all the bugs are gone. All deposits will be secure.

I have not asked for nor received any compensation for my service to date. I am convinced that BD Poker is secure and I’m so convinced that Pimp Your Poker is going to be a major hit with both players and affiliates that I was happy to help work out the wrinkles and glitches. I know I’ll make a good commission from the program and I know the players will love the value they get for their money.

I’ll do my best to address each issue in order…

BigDaddys Poker is not Pimp Your Poker! Chips had a contract for service with BigDaddys. The issue he has is with BigDaddys, and has absolutely nothing to do with Pimp Your Poker.

Sour grapes… hard not to think so when this post appears in a very busy public forum just two days before pimp Your Poker is scheduled to go live and after Chips being told on Monday that payment was on the way.

Payment for services rendered
Chips was informed that due to Forex controls in South Africa, there would be initial delays in payments. Chips agreed to be patient. Craig made every effort to pay Chips in a timely manner. Craig went so far as to set up an out of country bank account. Unfortunately, due to the bank freezing Craig’s account for more than a month, the funds were not cleared until this week. Craig informed Chips via Skype on Monday that the funds had been cleared and the money was on the way. He should receive it next week.

As for the IGS issue…. funny how Chips had no issues with that when he asked for the Affiliate Managers position with BigDaddys. Yes, he was aware! And he also knows that BigDaddys had entered into a contract with IGS before the whole Futurebet scandal broke. When Chips approached me to join the BD aff program, he was aware of the IGS connection. He was also acting as affiliate manager for Doms casino, another site using IGS software.

After the FB issue, BigDaddys Poker was quick to look at other options and is now on Merge Poker Network. The payment processing is being moved in house as soon as the licensing has been approved. BD Casino is still using IGS software but will also have the payment process moved in house.

Cashouts
Yes, there is a problem for American players getting money out of BD at the moment , the same type of problem all US facing rooms run into. The eWallet they were using has stopped accepting American transactions. BigDaddys is in talks with PicClub as we speak to provide a safe and more legal option for US players. American BD players and affiliates will be able to cash out through PicClub or by check by the end of November.

I repeat, Pimp Your Poker is not BigDaddys and Chips was never under contract with PYP.

PYP is operating out of the UK and has Paypal, MoneyBookers and checks as payment options for affiliates. Since the members pay a fee to join a forum, the commissions earned on memberships sold are not gambling related and are therefore legal in the US!

What this really boils down to is a dispute between two parties over contract issues. It has no bearing on Pimp Your Poker and has no place in a public forum.

I’ll stake my reputation on everything I’ve posted here. Anyone who knows me also knows that I put player security ahead of the bottom line. I wouldn’t be involved with PYP or BD if there was even a hint of impropriety.

In this industry, when a player or affiliate has trouble getting paid, the news travels like wild fire. Check the forums, there are no complaints against BD from either players or affiliates except this one post.

So, bottom line, it’s your call. Take Bruce at his word and don’t get involved. Or, take me at mine and get in on the ground floor of what is absolutely going to be a cash cow for both players and affiliates.

Thanks for your time,
Terry
