I started out republican and just can’t stomach another 4 years of their pissing down my leg and telling me its raining approach to politics.
As an independent I never really quite bought into the Republican Agenda. Their idelogy irks me much more that the Democrats does, so I guess I lean left on many issues.
Personally I ‘m not voting for either candidate as I do not like their immigration policy which really won’t make any difference as aprox. 63% of my state are registered independents. Obama will win it hands down.
the taste is so bad I don’t know if I’ll ever change back but then again it will only take one 4 year stint of the dem’s version of W and I’ll feel different. btw: ya its not just W, its the whole republican agenda nowadays.
I doubt the Dems will have anything like W’s version, however I do believe they will weaken National Security.
how many more blatant reductions of freedoms need happen before others like myself become so unhappy with the status quo they are willing to settle for whatever is behind door #2 ? … I don’t know.
Repulbicans have taken civil liberties way too far with the UIGEA and the KY non-sense. Although I disagree with having to get a fisa warrant first, I haven’t heard any reports of blatent abuse but I’m sure the Dems will undo that policy.
there simply cannot be any further distance between the classes and any kind of harmony be expected. People are taking their dogs and cats to the pound because they can’t afford to feed them any more. that’s akin to dropping off a kid to most US citizens.
I feel that more than anything has put into perspective how bad thing have become.
A surge in crude oil prices aside “the key cause of inflation is increases in the supply of money”. Lowering taxes and printing more money are significant causes of inflation. It’s inflation that effects the poor and middle class most. Well off people can easily absorb a rise in the cost of goods and services.

What I would really like to see is anybody who has any record of politics taken out of office and somebody else put into their place (that is qualified) .. let them run against another (or two) candidates … pay the winner a decent wage and run the country like a business after you’ve got the voting part done. Your dept screws up. your head rolls. do your job, you keep it. pretty simple. or should be.
I think we may have had this experiment when Davis was booted out and Arnold was elected, now he wants to borrow 7 billion which brings us back to the bad immigration policy.
