You were both Republicians and I was a Democrate, a real democrate, I work for Mayor Daily in Chicago, the OLD MAN not the son, so I go way way back voting democrate.
As far as your thought Professor
“I hope you are a true conservative Republican and want to get the party back in order. It was always meant to represent LESS Government, LESS intrusion into the personal lives and decisions of Americans, a stable economy, a strong defense, respect and leadership in the world community, no shoveling money to special interest groups and not raping the American Tax Payer out of TRILLIONS of dollars. The Republican party, as it sits now, and over the last eight years, is light years away from those ideals.
“
I agree with you so much on that, I really do, 100%, but I think the Democrate party has been hijacked by the far left. This is not the democrate party my dad voted for. He was a union orginezer who was not in bed with the management is, not like today, today you cant tell them apart. I worked for the largets union in Calif for awhile, I know, they are one in the same.
What is astounding to me is I really believe you and your thoughts on changing from a R to a D, both of you, and here I am, once a D and now a R. The 3 of us changed partys because all 3 of us really and truely feel our old partys have changed too much that we cant stay.
That is very interesting I think. I, the rep want theold Dems back and you two, the Dems seem to want the old reps back. Wow, that gives me hope there might some day be some common ground. I am glad you both stated your true feelings and I hope you feel the same about me.
